It's hard to clown Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James‘ skills on the basketball court, but his skills on the mic are fair game. Following the high-profile releases of Drake's Certified Lover Boy and Kanye West's Donda this month, the Lakers forward — currently yachting around Italy like Magic Johnson (my bar) — has, as usual, taken to his Instagram stories to share his enthusiasm for the Drake record and “rap” over the tracks.
Well, kind of. James has been playfully lampooned by the Internet for his not-quite-mastery of the lyrics.
As one Twitter user joked, James doesn't seem to have every line of Drake's “Race My Mind” memorized yet (and the other gem below).

Another TikTok user posted this hilarious spoof of how James might share himself listening to Drake's “Way 2 Sexy” featuring Future and Young Thug.

On James' ongoing Eurotrip, he was seen rapping alongside Diddy to Migos' “Having Our Way”, featuring Drake. In June, James used some Drake bars to clap back at the haters.
LeBron and Drake are buddies, and the Lakers star (along with Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, and numerous other NBA players) have promoted Certified Lover Boy on social media since its release last Friday.

Of course, Los Angeles Clippers star Kawhi Leonard made a surprise cameo in the “Way 2 Sexy” video.

Considering Kanye West seemed to diss James over LeBron's decision to send his kids to Sierra Canyon in an unreleased Donda track, I would suspect we won't be hearing LeBron hype West's 10th studio album.
Donda's 11th track, “24” is a tribute to Lakers legend Kobe Bryant.
